Martin Luther, the great theologian make that statement. I've adopted it as a quote I cling to daily! You never really realize just how much people are hurting, especially when I go to an event and expect everyone there is ready to laugh! That is not always true. I recently learned that a young mother and her mother attended an event to "take their minds off of the recent past." I was e-mailed the day after I spoke to a wonderful church in SC. It was a ladies dinner event, and we all seemed to eat real good and have fun. The e-mail the following day said that the church really wanted to thank me for coming. The young mother and her mother were there and had not smiled or laughed in months - since the death of her daughter, and grand-daughter. The sweet woman said everyone was talking after I left and their hearts were touched because they'd seen both women laugh and smile that night and it had not been since the accident they'd seen that emotion on their faces.
Hmm - do you ever question why God has called you to what He has called you to? I've decided to spend less time questioning God and more time working on what He has called me to - we are to do all things as unto the Lord - so I'm praying God laughed that night to! I love you all bunches! Please let me hear from you! Because He lives, cherie
